Virginia’s Kiamesha Otey added two second-place finishes to her ACC long jump title today, making her a three-time All-Conference selection for her efforts just this weekend. She was the only performer to earn All-Conference honors in both sprints. Eliese Mitchell also earned another medal today, taking the bronze in the weight throw with a toss of 18.73m (61′ 5.5″). Sharon O’Connor scored in a pair of events, taking eighth in the 800 and fifth in the mile run. In the mile she just nipped teammate Jolene Hampson, who came in sixth .7 seconds behind O’Connor. Ellen Dwyer also scored in her second final today, taking third in the 3K with a time of 9:37.68. Teammate Dawn Cleary was eighth in the same race. Overall the women finished fourth with 74.5 points.

On the men’s side, David Sullivan was Virginia’s lone All-Conference performer as he took third in the pole vault with a a jump of 4.97m (16′ 3.5″). McGavock Dunbar and Gemayel Hazard both finished fourth in their respective events as Dunbar ran the 800m in 1:54.19 and Hazard finished the 60m hurdles in a time of 8.19. Teammate Scott Robinson was eighth in the same event, running 8.34. Andy Filachek also scored for the second consecutive day as he finished eighth in the 3K with a time of 8:26.27. The men’s 1600m relay took sixth in a time of 3:21.27. Overall the men’s team was seventh with 28 points.
