Virginia Closes Out Regular-Season With #7/8 North Carolina

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia women’s basketball team closes out the regular season with No. 7/8 North Carolina in the home finale on Sunday, March 2 at 2 p.m. at University Hall.
The Senior Class will be honored in a pregame ceremony at 1:45 p.m. The arena doors will open at 12:45 p.m. with tip-off slated for 2 p.m. on ESPN2.
It’s also Fan Appreciation Day, sponsored by the UVa Health System. Fans will have the opportunity to win a cruise for two (courtesy of Royal Carribean/AAA Travel), tickets to the Women’s ACC Tournament, a Massanutten Ski Package (including lift ticket, rental, ski lesson), dinner for two at Ragazzi’s; and Jiffy Lube Signature Service, Marriott prize packs, and Hardee’s food coupons.
ESPN2 will televise the game live nationally. Charlottesville’s WINA Radio (1070 AM) will broadcast the game live on the radio and the Virginia website at virginiasports.com.
