May 7, 2003
Playing in front of her hometown crowd, Chasney had a hat trick and an assist as the Cavaliers ralled from a two-goal deficit with just over a minute to play to knock off #1 and previously unbeaten Loyola. She had Virginia’s first two goals of the game, and after the Cavaliers pulled within one with 68 seconds to play, Chasney won the draw control that led to the tying score. She then scored the game-winning goal with five seconds left in the game.
Chasney ranks third on the team in scoring with 66 points (49g, 17a) and second in draw controls with 34. Her 66 points ranks second all-time at Virginia for scoring as a second-year.
