CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The nationally-ranked University of Virginia men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams will compete against Atlantic Coast Conference rival Georgia Tech Friday (November 7) at the UVa Aquatic and Fitness Center. The meet begins at 2:00 p.m. with diving commencing at 1:00 p.m. Admission to the meet is free of charge.

For those unable to attend, the meet may be followed on UVa’s website – virginiasports.com – via live stats. Results will be posted at the conclusion of each event. The Cavalier men are ranked ninth in the College Swimming Coaches Association of America Dual Meet Top 25 Poll and stand at 3-1 overall and 1-0 in the ACC. UVa is coming off a 137.7-105.5 victory over Clemson on November 1. Georgia Tech opened its season with a 132-107 win over N.C. State on October 25.

The 17th-ranked Virginia women stand at 2-2 overall and 1-0 in the ACC. The Cavaliers defeated Clemson 151-90 in their last competition on November 1. The Yellow Jackets began their season with a 152-91 victory over N.C. State on October 25.
