CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia football fans will have several opportunities to watch training camp practice as seven practice sessions are open to the public.

The first open practice is on Friday, August 5 at 6:15 p.m. On Saturday, August 6, practice is slated for 5:15 p.m. The team will take the field again on Sunday, August 7 at 2:45 p.m. Practice continues on Monday, August 6 at 6:15 p.m. On Tuesday, August 9, the Cavaliers will practice at 11:15 a.m.

The final open practice sessions are set for Saturday, August 13 as fans will have two opportunities with an 8:45 a.m. session and a 6:45 p.m. session.

All practices will be held at the practice fields behind University Hall. Cameras, camcorders, and cell phones are strictly prohibited.

Virginia’s annual Meet the Team Day is scheduled for Thursday, August 18, at the Carl Smith Center, home of David A. Harrison III Field at Scott Stadium. The North and East gates open at 3 p.m., with the team arriving at approximately 3:30 p.m. The event is free and will be held rain or shine.
