Cavalier Sports Weekly to Air this Week

The second season of the award-winning Cavalier Sports Weekly, presented by the Virginia Lottery, continues Sunday, January 22nd. The fast-paced, half-hour program provides comprehensive coverage of Virginia Athletics. Cavalier Sports Weekly can be seen regionally each Sunday at 12:30 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet, and this week only on Monday at 11 p.m. and Saturday (1/28) at 6 p.m. The program will also air on the new ABC, CBS and FOX affiliates in Charlottesville, on FOX 35 Richmond and on WSET-TV ABC 13 in Danville, Lynchburg, and Roanoke.
Sophomore Guard Sharnee Zoll will host the show. The program will feature highlights and analysis of all the men’s and women’s ACC hoops action this week against Virginia Tech, UNC, and Maryland. The show will also spotlight junior guard Brenna McGuire and her famous basketball family, and look back to 1986 and the largest crowd ever to attend a game at University Hall.
