CHARLOTTESVILLE – Two former members of the Virginia women’s soccer team were selected to the United States U-21 National Team that will compete later this month at the Nordic Cup in Norway. Midfielders Sarah Huffman (Flower Mound, Texas) and Noelle Keselica (Gaithersburg, Md.) were among the 18-players selected to the team.

The United States are looking for its eighth consecutive Nordic Cup championship, annually the world’s top U-21 international tournament. Huffman will be making her third consecutive appearance, having been on the U.S. championship teams in each of the past two years. Keselica will be making her Nordic Cup debut.

The tournament will be held July 16-22 in five venues in Norway.

Both Huffman and Keselica were All-Americans this past fall during their senior seasons for the Cavaliers. They helped Virginia tie a school record with 18 wins in 2005 while reaching the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament.
