Maryland Football Game Kickoff Set for 3:30 Start

Charlottesville, VA – Virginia’s Oct. 14 home game with Maryland will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. The game will not be televised but will be video-streamed on the Internet by ESPN 360.

A limited number of tickets for the Maryland game are now on sale to the general public. The tickets were returned by Maryland as part of the allotment it received as the visiting team. The reserved seats are $40.

In addition to the Maryland game, tickets are also available for the Oct. 19 home game with North Carolina. That is a Thursday night contest scheduled for a 7:30 start.

Fans can purchase tickets through UVa’s athletics website, www.virginiasports.com, or by calling the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at 800-542-UVA1 (8821) or 434/924-UVA1 (8821). The ticket office is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and tickets are also available at the box office windows in Bryant Hall at the Stadium.
