UVa Men's Soccer Cancels Tuesday Game with Longwood

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – – The University of Virginia Men’s Soccer Team has cancelled its home game with in-state foe Longwood scheduled for Tues., Oct. 17, due to inclement weather conditions in the Charlottesville area. The game will not be rescheduled.

The Cavaliers will next be in action Friday at 7 p.m, when they travel to Virginia Tech. Virginia will play its final regular season home game Fri. Oct. 27, when UVa hosts Wake Forest at Klöckner Stadium at 8 p.m. The game will be televised by Fox Soccer Channel.

Virginia defeated No. 2 Maryland in its last game, 3-0. The Cavaliers are ranked No. 2 in the latest National Soccer Coaches of America Association’s (NSCAA) Poll and No. 4 in Soccer America.
