CHARLOTTESVILLE – The University of Virginia baseball team continues its 12-game homestand this weekend with a three game series against Bucknell at Devenport Field. The seventh-ranked Cavaliers will face the Bison at 4 p.m. on Friday, 1 p.m. on Saturday, and 1 p.m. on Sunday.

The Cavaliers (7-1) are coming off mid-week wins over William & Mary (15-2) on Tuesday, and Coppin State (12-0) on Wednesday. Earlier this week, Bucknell dropped its season opener 10-2 at VMI.

The probable pitching matchups for the series are Virginia’s Sean Doolittle (2-0, 0.82 ERA) against Bucknell’s Nathan Mittag (first start of the season) on Friday, Jacob Thompson (2-0, 0.82 ERA) against Mathew Wilson (first start of the season) on Saturday, and Matt Packer (1-0, 1.69 ERA) against Matt Curry (0-1, 2.25 ERA) on Sunday.

On Friday, baseball fans are instructed to park in the southern end of the University Hall lot. Attendants will instruct baseball fans where to park in the lot. On Saturday, all baseball fans should part in the Emmett/Ivy Garage and notify the attendant that they are attending the baseball game. Parking is available in the University Hall lots on Sunday.
