Charlottesville, VA – Comcast SportsNet will bring SportsNite on Campus to Charlottesville and the John Paul Jones Arean Thursday night for the highly-anticipated men’s basketball matchup between ACC rivals Virginia and Virginia Tech. Both teams enter the game with 10-4 conference records and are tied with North Carolina for first place heading into the final week of ACC regular season play.

Comcast SportsNet’s Michael Jenkins will be reporting from the arena prior to the game during SportsNite at 6:30 p.m. Comcast SportsNet will also feature SportsNite on Campus segments Thursday during SportsNite at 10 p.m. Highlights include an exclusive sit-down interview with Virginia team captains Sean Singletary and J.R. Reynolds, a look inside the fanatical `Hoo Crew, a one-on-one interview with Virginia coach Dave Leitao following the game and interviews with Virginia Athletics Director and the chair of the 2006 Men’s Division I Basketball Committee Craig Littlepage. Other features will profile former Virginia basketball stars Cory Alexander and Curtis Staples. These features will run throughout the week and air in their entireties during Thursday’s special edition of SportsNite.

Comcast SportsNet offers college basketball fans comprehensive men’s and women’s regular and post-season basketball coverage in the Mid-Atlantic region. The Comcast SportsNet lineup features 154 games and the only regional coverage in HDTV. Comcast SportsNet also gives fans comprehensive college basketball news and behind-the-scenes coverage of the coaches, players, and schools in the area.
