Charlottesville, VA – Virginia fans now have the opportunity to get involved with the Cavalier football team through a pair of exciting interactive web contests on VirginaSports.com. The Virginia Lottery Fantasy Call allows fans to submit their personal audio play-by-play account of a highlight from Virginia’s previous football game. The Ford `Hoos Best Play of the Game allows UVa followers to vote on the previous week’s top individual performance.

This week’s Virginia Lottery Fantasy Call allows wannabe play-by-play broadcasters to give their personal account of Andrew Pearman’s 67-yard kickoff return during last Saturday’s season opener at Wyoming. To participate, fans can visit the Game Day Central link at VirginaSports.com and watch a video clip of the play. Then call 1-866-WIN-HOOS (866-946-4667) toll free to record their play-by-play description while watching from their computer. The best submission will have their call appear in conjunction with the play on `Hoo Vision during pre-game of this Saturday’s football game vs. Duke. The winner will also receive two (2) tickets to the Duke game.

Fans can also vote for the top highlight of the football game vs. Wyoming in the Ford `Hoos Best Play of the Game promotion. Visit the Game Day Central link at VirginaSports.com and choose from:
Andrew Pearman’s 67-yard kickoff return
Jeffrey Fitzgerald’s interception
Allen Billyk’s quarterback sack

The winning play will be revealed on `Hoo Vision at halftime of the Duke game on Saturday.
