Michael Hagos, a member of the men’s cross country and track and field teams here at Virginia, helped the Cavaliers place second at the Lou Onesty Invitational, finishing as UVa’s third runner across the line. The Virginia native sat down with virginiasports.com to share about himself with fans.

Favorite place to run (and why): Charlottesville, because it’s home, the weather’s great, and you can always find a place to get a good run in, regardless of the length.

Most memorable race: Hasn’t happened yet

Race you would like to run: 1500 finals at NCAAs

Favorite Olympic event (non-athletics): Riflery, the 50-meter prone rifle competition

Favorite pre-race meal: Bananas
