CHARLOTTESVILLE — The No. 13 ranked Virginia men’s soccer team continues its five game homestand on Tuesday as it hosts intrastate foe Liberty. Game time at Klckner Stadium is slated for 7 p.m.

The Cavaliers (8-3-2, 1-2-2 ACC) are looking to rebound after a 2-1 loss to Boston College on Saturday. Yannick Reyering (Mettingen, Germany) scored for the Cavaliers, his ACC leading ninth goal of the year. The loss to the Eagles, who lead the ACC with a 5-0-0 record, snapped Virginia’s 11-game home unbeaten streak.

The Flames (8-3-2, 3-1-0 Big South) are coming off a 2-0 win at UNC Asheville last Thursday. Adrian Bumbut leads the team is scoring with eight goals on the year.

The game is the 16th all-time meeting between the schools with Virginia holding a 15-0-0 advantage in the series. Last year, the Cavaliers posted a 2-0 win over Liberty at Klckner Stadium with Nico Colaluca and Chris Tierney scoring.

Virginia will continue the homestand on Friday, October 26 when it hosts Duke. The match is the final home ACC game for the Cavaliers. Game time is 7 p.m. and the contest will be broadcast live online by ACC Select.
