CHARLOTTESVILLE The Virginia women’s tennis team suffered its second loss of the season, falling to No. 15 William & Mary 7-0 Wednesday at the Boyd Tinsley Courts at the Boar’s Head Sports Club.

The Tribe (3-1) took the early lead by sweeping the three doubles matches. In singles, William & Mary won all six matchups in straight sets. At the top three positions, Rales, Stevens, and Yahner lost to nationally ranked opponents, No. 12 Moulton-Levy, No. 83 Zoricic, and No. 55 Acharya respectively. In the lower half of the lineup, Kasztelaniec defeated Pereira at No. 4, Sabacinski topped Alexander at No. 5, and Pop downed Williams at No. 6.
