Virginia-Georgia Tech Men's Basketball Game Rescheduled

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference office, after consulting with both institutions, announced Friday (Feb. 22) that the Georgia Tech-Virginia men’s basketball game that was postponed Thursday night (Feb. 21) has been rescheduled for Monday, March 3, at 7:00 p.m. in Georgia Tech’s Alexander Memorial Coliseum. The game will be televised by the ACC’s Regional Sports Network Fox Sports Net South, Fox Sports Net Florida, and Comcast Sports Net Mid-Atlantic.

“Obviously it’s unfortunate for both institutions,” Virginia men’s head basketball coach Dave Leitao said. “It means we’ll probably be a little inconvenienced on that date, but at the same point in time you deal with what you have in front of you. This is the best possible scenario that would have us both play the game before the regular season ends.”
