CHARLOTTESVILLE – A transit bus will be available to rowing fans headed from Charlottesville to Lake Monticello for the meet with Michigan State, Wisconsin and Oregon State. The bus will leave at 8:15 a.m. from outside of McCormick Hall, near the dining hall, on Saturday, April 12. Following the morning races, which start at 9 a.m., the bus will return to Grounds at approximately 11:15 a.m.

A second shuttle will leave at 12:15 p.m. for Lake Monticello on Saturday, for the afternoon races at 1 p.m., and will return to Grounds at approximately 4 p.m.

On Sunday, April 13, the bus will leave at 7:15 a.m. for the morning races, which start at 8 a.m., and return to Grounds at approximately 11:15 a.m.

Directions to Lake Monticello
From East/West: Take I-64 to exit 129; go right on 616 for 6 miles. Then go right on 600 for 1.5 miles. Then go right on 618 for one mile to the Lake Monticello Gate on the left. The lake is 1/4 mile straight ahead.
From South: Take 29 north to I-64 to exit 129; go right on 616 for 6 miles. Then go right 600 for 1.5 miles. Then go right on 618 for one mile to the Lake Monticello Gate on the left. The lake is 1/4 mile straight ahead.
From North: Take 29 south to Rt. 250 (Richmond exit). Stay on 250 to I-64 East (Richmond). Take I-64 E. to exit 129; go right on 616 for 6 miles. Then go right on 600 for 1.5 miles. Then go right on 618 for one mile to the Lake Monticello. Gate on the left. The lake is 1/4 mile straight ahead.
