CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. General Admission season tickets, Pick 10 Mini-Packages and Sunday Family 4 Packages for the 2009 Virginia baseball season will go on sale Monday at the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office.

Fans may purchase tickets online at VirginiaSports.com or by calling the UVa Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 542-8821. Seating for new season tickets and packages will follow that of existing season ticket holders.

General Admission season tickets for UVa’s 39-game home schedule are available for seating in the grandstand, on the grassy hillside and in the left field bleachers. Prices for general admission season tickets are $100 for adults and $75 for youth (18 and under), seniors (60 and over), faculty and staff.

The Pick 10 Mini-Packages cost $40 per seat. Fans may choose any 10 games from the Cavaliers’ schedule. Mini-Packages also save $30 (over 40 percent) off single-game ticket prices. All Mini-Package seating is in the General Admission sections of Davenport Field, including the grandstand, hillside and left field bleachers.

Sunday Family 4 Packages are also available, offering four general admission tickets, four hot dogs and four soft drinks for just $32. Additional tickets (including hot dog and soft drink) are available for $8 each. Sunday Family 4 Packages are available for all Sunday ACC home games during the 2009 regular season.

Virginia’s home slate features three-game series with 2008 College World Series participants Florida State and Miami, as well as weekend tilts with NCAA tournament participants NC State and Bucknell.

The weekday schedule boasts 2008 Super Regional participant Coastal Carolina as well as NCAA tournament qualifier Stony Brook and visits from six in-state opponents. ACC foes Maryland and Duke also visit for three-game weekend series this spring.

Reserved Ticket Information
Reserved seats have been sold out for several years and past reserved seat season ticket holders will have the first opportunity to renew those seats. Fans interested in purchasing reserved seats (grandstand sections 104-106) for 2009 may place a request to be added to the reserved season ticket wait list by calling the ticket office or visiting VirginiaSports.com. Should reserved seats become available, they will be offered to those on the wait list in Virginia Athletics Foundation priority point order, then in order of the date the request was received.

2008 season ticket holders will receive a 2009 application in the mail later this week. Season ticket holders must return their completed application with full payment to the ticket office by the Dec. 5 priority seating deadline to renew their seating location. Season ticket holders may also choose to renew their season tickets online at VirginiaSports.com or by calling the ticket office.

2009 season ticket holders will continue to be offered seating priority in the event Charlottesville is selected as a 2009 NCAA Regional host site.
