Why did you come to Virginia? I loved the team and competitive volleyball, beautiful campus, interesting people, incredible academics. It really is the best of everything rolled into one school.
What is something most people don’t know about you? I am Brazilian royalty… kind of. It’s in the lineage
Phrase you overuse the most? “Dude,” “I’m not gonna lie to ya,” and “Creeper!!”
What is your most treasured possession? Friends and family. I’m not really big on physical possessions
What is your greatest fear? Spiders
What is your greatest non-athletic talent? Giving advice
What is a non-athletic talent you’d like to have? I would like to speak several different languages
Historical figure you’d like to meet? Gandhi. Corny, I know, but I could learn so much about patience and sacrifice
Athlete you admire the most? Jason Varitek
What are you embarrassed to admit you watch? Almost anything on MTV or VH1
What is your biggest pet peeve? Jealousy

What is your dream volleyball experience? NCAA championship. A ball gets shanked towards the bleachers. I dive and pop it up, and my teammate crushes it. We win.
What is the hardest thing about being a student-athlete? Time management
What is a must have on road trips? Sleeper bus, sun chips, and my mom’s trail mix is a must for home games
Pre-game rituals? Locker room dancing led by Brit and myself
What was your most exciting win? My first year when we played Clemson at home. Came back in the second game when we were down like 21 to 29 or something
Who is your favorite opponent? Any of my old club teammates
Do you have any hidden talents? I wish
What do you put on your hotdog? Ketchup and Mustard
If a movie were made of your life, which actress would you want to play you? Sandra Bullock
Are you a morning person or night owl? Definitely night person
Peanut butter – crunchy or smooth? Smooth, however, might be making the switch one day.
