CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Season tickets for 2009-10 Virginia women’s basketball season are currently available through the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office. Season tickets provide admission to all 17 regular season games at John Paul Jones Arena.

National powerhouse Tennessee visits JPJA on Nov. 22 to set up a showdown of two Hall of Fame coaches when UVa’s Debbie Ryan and UT’s Pat Summitt square off with their respective teams. Big Ten front runner Purdue faces the Cavaliers in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge on Dec. 3. ACC foes Maryland (Jan. 11), North Carolina (Feb. 15) and Virginia Tech (Feb. 28) are also featured on UVa’s home slate.

Season ticket holders from the 2008-09 campaign will receive an application by mail in early September offering the opportunity to renew their seat locations for the upcoming 2009-10 season.
