Farmville, VA – Virginia senior Steven Rojas is tied for third place after the first 36 hole of play at Longwood’s Manor Intercollegiate. Rojas, competing as an individual, had rounds of 73 and 71. He trails Gardner Webb’s Daniel Kim by three shots. Liberty’s Preston Dembowiak, who is also playing as an individual, is in second place at 143 while the Lancers’ Adam Webb is tied with Rojas.

UVa’s other two competitors at the tournament are redshirt freshman Cory Siegfried and true freshman Mac McLaughlin. Siegfried had rounds of 81 and 71 and is in 24th place at 152. McLaughlin, playing in his first collegiate event, shot 78 and 85 and is 52nd at 163.

The final round of the tournament will take place Tuesday.
