CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Season tickets for the 2010 Virginia baseball season are now on sale. New for 2010, Reserved Bleacher season tickets are available, providing a reserved grandstand bleacher seat for the 35-game schedule. General Admission season tickets are also available, offering seating on a first-come, first-served basis in grandstand sections, as well as in the left-field bleachers and on the hillside along the left field line.

Prices for Reserved Bleacher season tickets are $125 for adults and $100 for youth (18 and under), seniors (60 and over), and current UVa faculty and staff. Prices for General Admission season tickets are $100 for adults and $75 for youth (18 and under), seniors (60 and over), and current UVa faculty and staff.

Fans may purchase tickets online at VirginiaSports.com or by calling the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 542-8821. Fans may also order in person at the Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

2009 season ticket holders will receive an application via postal mail to renew their order for the 2010 season during the week of October 19. Season ticket holders may also renew online by logging in to their customer account at VirginiaSports.com, or by calling the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office. The priority deadline for season ticket renewal is Dec. 4.

A payment plan will be available for season tickets this year. Balances for customers completing their purchase by the early renewal deadline of Nov. 12 will be split into three payments, to be charged in early December, January and February.

As in previous years, the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office will accept season ticket wait list requests for the Reserved Seats located directly behind home plate. Should any Reserved Seats not be renewed by 2009 season ticket holders, fans from this wait list will be contacted in Virginia Athletics Foundation priority point order with the opportunity to purchase these seats.
