CHARLOTTESVILLE – General Admission tickets are still available for the Virginia vs. Tennessee women’s basketball game on Nov. 22 at 4 p.m. at John Paul Jones Arena. In an effort to set a new UVa single-game attendance record, the contest between the Cavaliers and Lady Vols is Hot Dog Day and every fan in attendance will receive a coupon for a free Gwaltney hot dog and a 12-ounce Pepsi.

As of Nov. 13, more than 7,000 tickets have been sold for the highly anticipated match-up. In the preseason Associated Press top 25, UVa is ranked No. 14, while Tennessee is ranked No. 8.

General Admission tickets offering seating on a first-come, first-served basis are available for $7 for adults and $5 for youth 18 and under, seniors 60 and over and UVa faculty and staff (with UVa ID). Reserved seat tickets are sold out.

Tickets can be purchased online at VirginiaSports.com, by phone at (800) 542-UVA1, at the John Paul Jones Arena box office (10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Monday through Friday) and at the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office (9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday). The John Paul Jones Arena box office will open at 11:30 a.m. on game day for fans wishing to purchase tickets and pick up at Will Call.

Advance purchase of tickets is highly recommended to avoid waiting in game day ticket sales lines.

Gates open 90 minutes prior to tip off. Fans with General Admission tickets are encouraged to arrive early to obtain the best possible seating.
