Charlottesville, VA – The Meet and Greet with head football coach Mike London scheduled for Friday, Feb. 5, at John Paul Jones Arena has been rescheduled due to the winter storm expected for the Charlottesville area. The free event will now take place Saturday, March 6, at John Paul Jones Arena following the home men’s basketball game against Maryland (1:30 p.m. tipoff). Hosted by the Virginia Athletics Foundation and the athletics department, the event will feature London and the new Cavalier football coaching staff.

“Given the current weather forecast for Friday night, we thought it best to reschedule the event now so everyone can adjust their plans,” said UVa Executive Associate Athletics Director Jon Oliver. “Holding the meet and greet after the Maryland game allows Mike and the football coaching staff the best opportunity to interact with a large number of our fans. We look forward to seeing everyone on March 6.”

Following the men’s basketball game, the court will be covered and fans will be asked to come down to the floor to interact with Coach London and the assistant coaches. After approximately 45 minutes, the speaking portion of the program will begin with Coach London and the staff.

Tickets are available for the men’s basketball game against Maryland on March 6, including a limited number of $10 tickets. Fans not holding game tickets are welcome to come to the meet and greet event for free following the conclusion of the basketball game. Parking will be organized to accommodate the men’s basketball game throughout the day.

Fans unable to attend the event in person can watch a live webcast on VirginiaSports.com.
