Men's Tennis Hosts Doubleheader Saturday

CHARLOTTESVILLE — The Virginia men’s tennis team returns to action on Saturday when it hosts a doubleheader at the Boyd Tinsley Courts at the Boar’s Head Sports Club. The Cavaliers host LSU at 1 p.m. and Boston College in their ACC opener at 6 p.m.

The Cavaliers (8-1) are coming off their third consectitve ITA National Team Indoor Championship last week, defeating Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State and Tennessee. Virginia moved to No. 1 in this week’s ITA team rankings, the fourth time in the last five years that UVa has been ranked No. 1 during the season. LSU (0-3) comes to Charlottesville ranked No. 35 nationally and looking for its first win of the season. Boston College (3-3, 0-2 ACC) is looking for its first ACC win of the season as it visits Maryland on Friday and Virginia Saturday.
