Women's Soccer Announces Spring Schedule

CHARLOTTESVILLE — The Virginia women’s soccer team has announced its 2010 spring schedule. The Cavaliers will play on five dates this spring, including three at home.
The Cavaliers open the spring on Mar. 20 as they play a pair of matches in Richmond as part of the Jefferson Cup. Virginia will meet rival West Virginia at 11:30 a.m. and the WPS’s Washington Freedom at 7:30 p.m. On Mar. 28, Virginia host Nebraska for a pair of matches held on the Upper Grass Field (next to the main entrance to Klöckner Stadium). The Cavaliers and Huskers will meet at 9 a.m. and again at 2 p.m. Virginia hosts William & Mary on Apr. 6 at 8 p.m. at Klöckner Stadium. On Apr. 10, Virginia will travel to Winston-Salem, N.C. for the ACC Spring Tournament, where the Cavaliers will be joined by Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Duke and NC State. The Cavaliers conclude their spring season on Apr. 17 when they host Richmond on the Upper Grass Field at noon.
