GREENSBORO, N.C. – Sophomore Kevin Anding has been named to the 2010 All-ACC Academic Men’s Indoor Track and Field Team, as announced today by the conference office. Anding is making his second-straight appearance on the team.

A sprinter from Houston, Texas, Anding was a member of the Cavaliers’ distance medley relay (DMR) that won the 2010 ACC Indoor Championship in February, running the 400m leg. He was also a member of the Cavaliers’ DMR squad that provisionally qualified for NCAAs by combining for a time of 9:37.92 at the Alex Wilson Invitational.

To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.0 GPA during the fall semester and maintained a 3.0 GPA throughout their career. Selection is then based on athletic merit.

This week, the Cavaliers head to Clemson to compete in the 2010 ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Competition is Thursday-Saturday.
