Sargent and Fisher Advance at Four Ball Championship

Charlottesville, VA – Virginia men’s golf coach Bowen Sargent took advantage of a weekend where his team was not competing to play himself. Sargent and assistant coach Jay Fisher shot 65 to win their 18-hole zone qualifying event for the 2010 Virginia State Golf Association Four Ball Championship on Monday, April 19.

Sargent and Fisher competed at The Tradition Club at The Crossings in Glen Allen. They were two shots better than the runner-up tandem.

The championship of the event is set for May 7-8 at The Federal Club in Glen Allen.
