– Why did you come to UVa? Beautiful Grounds, the history, the
wonderful people, the awesome girls on the team and the collective
goal of greatness that I knew I wanted to be a part of.
– What are you embarrassed to admit you watch? Old cartoons from the
90’s
– Biggest Pet Peeve? a “Debbie Downer”
– Favorite Volleyball Drill? Five-man rotating cross court pepper
– If you were the eighth dwarf, what would your name be? Giggly

#7 – A.J. CUSHMAN

– What is your greatest fear? Spiders
– What is a non-athletic talent you’d like to have? To speak several
different languages
– Favorite Childhood Toy? Legos
– Favorite Summer Job? Gardener
– Favorite Quote? “Please be patient with me. God isn’t finished with
me yet.”
– What is your dream volleyball experience? NCAA championship. A ball
gets shanked towards the bleachers. I dive and pop it up, and my
teammate crushes it. We win.

– What is a non-athletic talent you’d like to have? I wish I could
whistle
– What is your most treasured possession? IPHONE, I would die without
it!
– Two words to describe you on the court? Competitive and passionate
– What do you put on your hot dog? Ketchup, cheese, and onions
– Favorite TV Show? One Tree Hill
– If a movie were made of your life, which actress would you want to
play you? Jennifer Aniston

– Athlete you admire the most? Misty May
– What is your biggest pet peeve? People chewing with their mouth open
– Two words to describe you off the court? Funny and outgoing
– Favorite Holiday? Halloween
– Least Favorite Summer Job? Working birthday parties
– What is the greatest thing about being a student-athlete? Making
friends with all of the other student-athletes

– What is something most people don’t know about you? I was a state
champion in competitive acting
– What is your greatest non-athletic talent? I am a fabulous doodler!
– Athlete you admire the most? My brother, Tommy. He is the hardest
worker I know and has given me unbeatable advice about my career as
an athlete.
– Favorite Movie? Tommy Boy
– FavoriteMagazine? Cosmopolitan

#22 – Jess O’Shoney
– What is a non-athletic talent you’d like to have? Some kind of
musical talent, I used to play the flute in band but I was always
last chair.
– Favorite Food? Potatoes, any kind of potatoes. Baked, mashed, fried,
however. I LOVE potatoes.
– Favorite Volleyball Drill? Queen of the Court
– Two words to describe you on the court? Focused, hungry
– What is your dream volleyball experience? It used to be to play D1
volleyball, but now I’d say winning a title, that would be awesome.

– What is your greatest fear? Falling out of a roller coaster
– What is your greatest non-athletic talent? Making people laugh
– Favorite Vacation Spot? Door County, Wisc., but my Europe trip this
summer was awesome
– Least Favorite Volleyball Drill? Recovery Rolling
– What is a must have on road trips? iPod and homework, of course
– What has been your most exciting win? Last year we beat Virginia
Tech in five on Senior Night

– What is something most people don’t know about you? I can knit a
scarf in less than a day.
– Historical figure you’d like to meet? Does Harry Potter count?
– Two words to describe you off the court? Inappropriate and loud
– Favorite Song? Anything Britney Spears when AJ and Brit are dancing
to it…
– Favorite Cartoon Character? Winnie the Pooh
– What is a must have on road trips? Mrs. Cushman’s trail mix!!!

– What is something most people don’t know about you? I have lived in
Canada, England and Saudi Arabia but I’m really just a Florida girl.
– Historical figure you’d like to meet? Sacagawea
– Favorite Food? White pizza with pesto
– Least Favorite Vacation Spot? Anywhere without some sort of body of
water next to it.
– Favorite Childhood Toy? My stuffed panda bear named Andy Pandy
– What was your most exciting win? The win over Clemson at home in
2007!
