CHARLOTTESVILLE – The No. 8 Virginia women’s soccer team concludes its four-game homestand when it hosts Wake Forest Sunday afternoon at Klöckner Stadium. Game time is 1:30 p.m. (a change from the original schedule).

The Cavaliers are 9-3-1 on the season and 3-2-0 in the ACC after downing Duke 2-0 Thursday night at Klöckner Stadium on a pair of goals by Meghan Lenczyk (McLean, Va.) in the last 10 minutes. Virginia is looking to reach the 10-win mark for the 24th consecutive season.

Wake Forest enters the game at 10-4-1 overall and is tied for the conference lead with a 4-1-1 record in the ACC. The Demon Deacons are coming off a 3-3 draw on Thursday night at Virginia Tech.

The matchup is the 21st all-time meeting between the teams. Virginia leads the all-time series 12-5-3, including a 4-2-1 edge in Charlottesville. Last season, the teams played a scoreless draw in Winston-Salem.

Following the game, the Cavaliers will hit the road for their next two games. On Thursday night they play at No. 7 Florida State at 7 p.m. (televised live on SunSports) and visit Miami on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.
