TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The No. 7 Virginia women’s soccer team begins a two-game road trip to the Sunshine State on Thurday as it visits No. 10 Florida State. Game time at the Seminole Soccer Complex is 7:00 p.m. and the game will be televised live by SunSports.

The Cavaliers enter the game with a 10-3-1 overall record and a 4-2-0 mark in the ACC. Virginia is coming off home wins against Duke (2-0) and Wake Forest (2-1) last week. Reigning ACC Player of the Week Meghan Lenczyk (McLean, Va.) led UVa with three goals in those wins. All three of Lenczyk’s goals were assisted by Sinead Farrelly (Havertown, Pa.)

The Seminoles are 11-3-0 overall and 5-1-0 in the ACC. Last week Florida State split a pair of road games, falling 1-0 at North Carolina and winning 4-1 at NC State.

Virginia is undefeated all-time against Florida State, leading the all-time series 15-0-3, including a 6-0-1 mark in Tallahassee. The Cavaliers have won each of the last two meetings by a 1-0 score.

The Cavaliers continue their road trip on Sunday as they visit Miami. Game time is 1 p.m.
