CHARLOTTESVILLE – The Virginia women’s soccer team hosts third round action of the 2010 NCAA Tournament when it hosts Ohio State on Saturday. Game time at Klöckner Stadium is slated for 2 p.m.

Virginia (15-4-2) is in the round of 16 for the sixth consecutive season, but is looking for its first quarterfinal appearance since 2005. The Cavaliers opened the tournament with a pair of 3-0 wins last weekend, topping Lehigh in the first round and South Carolina in the second round.

Big Ten champion Ohio State (15-4-2) is making its first trip to the round of 16 since 2004 and is looking for its first ever quarterfinal appearance. The Buckeyes topped St. Francis (Pa.) 1-0 in double overtime in the first round before edging Dayton in penalty kicks following a 0-0 tie in the second round.

Saturday’s game is the second all-time meeting between the Cavaliers and Buckeyes. The only previous matchup came in 2003, when Ohio State won 1-0 in Columbus.

Tickets are $9 for reserved seats, $7 for adult general admission, and $5 for youth/student/senior citizen general admission. Fans can order tickets for the tournament online on the UVa Athletics Tickets Web site and by phone through the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at 800-542-UVA1 (8821) or 434-924-UVA1 (8821). Tickets are also available at the gate beginning one hour prior to game time.

Game-day parking is $5 and is available in the University Hall lots.

The winner of the game will play either Minnesota or Georgetown in the quarterfinals next weekend.
