Brad Robbins
Graduate Assistant Brad Robbins is in his first year in a non-coaching graduate assistant position for the Cavalier football team. Robbins worked for several months as an assistant in the Cavalier recruiting office before moving into his role as a graduate assistant.

A native of Big Stone Gap, Va., he graduated from UVa-Wise with a degree in business administration in 2010.

At UVa-Wise, Robbins played both football and baseball for four years after transferring from Western Carolina. He was a three-time All-Appalachian Athletic Conference selection in baseball. In 2010 he was a second-team NAIA All-American as a designated hitter. In his final season on the UVa-Wise football team, he passed for 3,022 yards and 22 TDs to earn All-Mid South honors.

Robbins was an all-state selection at Powell Valley High School. His father, Phil, won more than 300 games as the school’s head coach and is a member of the Virginia High School League Hall of Fame. Robbins is engaged to Terri Brooke Gordon of Castlewood, Va.
