GREENSBORO, N.C. – Virginia’s Adams Abdulrazaaq has been named ACC Men’s Track and Field Co-Performer of the Week, as announced by the league office Tuesday. While he shares this week’s honor with Florida State’s Brandon Byram, it is also the second-straight week that Abdulrazaaq has earned the award.

A senior from Highland Springs, Va., Abdulrazaaq has broke his own school record in the 60m hurdles in back-to-back meets this season, most recently a 7.75 performance in the finals of the Hokie Invitational. Abdulrazaaq’s time from this past weekend leads the ACC and is ranked fourth nationally this year.

In addition, Abdulrazaaq is undefeated in 60m hurdles races this year and has improved his win streak to six-straight victories. He has won the preliminary and final races at the Liberty Kick Off, Virginia Tech Invitational and Hokie Invitational.

With this honor, Abdulrazaaq becomes the first Cavalier to earn dual weekly awards during the same season.
