CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Two Virginia games will be televised as part of the Atlantic Coast Conference’s 2011 baseball package which was announced Monday by the conference. Both of the UVa games will emanate from the Cavaliers’ home park, Davenport Field.

Virginia’s April 23 game against NC State will be televised by the ACC’s Regional Sports Network, as will the Cavaliers’ May 14 game against Miami. The Regional Sports Network includes Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic, Fox Sports Net South, Fox Sports Net Florida, New England Sports Network (NESN) and Sun Sports.

In addition, all 13 games of the ACC Baseball Championship will be televised on the Regional Sports Network.

Virginia opens its 2011 season this weekend at the Auburn Tournament in Auburn, Ala. The Cavaliers will take on UAB at 3 p.m. Friday, Auburn at 2 p.m. Saturday and Arkansas State at noon Sunday (all times Eastern).
