Women's Soccer Game vs. St. John's Postponed to Tuesday

CHARLOTTESVILLE – The women’s soccer game between Virginia and St. John’s scheduled for Sunday, August 28 at Klöckner Stadium has been postponed to Tuesday, August 30. Game time will be 5 p.m.

A state of emergency has been declared for the state of New York due to Hurricane Irene and as a result St. John’s is unable to travel to Charlottesville to play on Sunday.

Fans with tickets for the St. John’s game may (a) bring their ticket to the Klöckner Stadium gate for the same seat on Tuesday, (b) exchange their ticket in advance for a General Admission ticket to any other regular season game by calling the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 542-8821 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or (c) bring their ticket to the gate for General Admission seating at any remaining regular season home game, subject to seat availability at the time of arrival.
