CHARLOTTESVILLE – The No. 8 Virginia women’s soccer team plays its final road game of the regular season on Thursday as it visits NC State. Game time at the Dail Soccer Field is 7 p.m., and the match will be on a free webcast at GoPack.com.

Virginia (9-3-2, 3-2-1 ACC) is coming off a 4-3 overtime victory over No. 10 Florida State on Saturday. It was the Cavaliers’ third top-10 win of the season, as they completed a span of six-straight games against ranked opponents. Caroline Miller (Rockville, Md.) scored two goals against the Seminoles, including the game-winner in the 93rd minute, and was named ACC Player of the Week for the second time in three weeks.

NC State (9-4-2, 0-3-2 ACC) is looking for its first conference win of the season, having picked up road ties at Maryland and Miami. The Wolfpack are coming off a 4-1 win at Longwood on Friday in their final non-conference game of the season.

The Cavaliers lead the all-time series 20-12-1, including an 8-5-1 record in Raleigh. Virginia has won 15 of the last 16 meetings in the series, including a 2-1 win at Klöckner Stadium last season. The Wolfpack’s lone win during that stretch was a 2-1 victory two years ago in the last meeting in Raleigh.

Virginia will return home to conclude the regular season with three-straight games at Klöckner Stadium, beginning Sunday against Clemson. Game time is 1 p.m.
