Men's Tennis Hosts ITA Atlantic Regional

CHARLOTTESVILLE — The Virginia men’s tennis team hosts the 2011 ITA Atlantic Regional, Oct. 20-25, at the Snyder Tennis Center. The qualifying draw will be held Thursday, with main draw play beginning Friday. Admission is free.

Virginia has seven players in the main draw, including six seeds. The top-seed is Jarmere Jenkins (College Park, Ga.), the two-time defending champion. Drew Courtney (Clifton, Va.) is the No. 2 seed, Julen Uriguen (Guatemala City, Guatemala) is the No. 5 seed and Justin Shane (Falls Church, Va.) is the No. 6 seed. The Cavaliers also have three players in the qualifying draw.
