CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — The Virginia women’s tennis team continued its strong play on day two of the Kitty Harrison Invitational at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center. The three-day event concludes Sunday.

In Saturday’s singles play, the Cavaliers went 10-2 on the day, going 6-1 vs. Minnesota and 4-1 vs. Texas A&M. Lindsey Hardenbergh (Fairfax Station. Va.), Caryssa Peretz (Cherry Hill, N.J.), Maria Fuccillo (Rockville, Md.) and Molly O’Koniewski (Hilton Head Island, S.C.) all won two matches on the day.

Virginia also won three doubles matches against Furman on Saturday.

The Cavaliers will conclude play at the event on Sunday, their final day of fall competition this year.
