PANAMA CITY, Panama — The United States U-20 National Team, led by Virginia head coach Steve Swanson, won the 2012 CONCACAF Championship. The American team, which features Cavalier first-years Morgan Brian (St. Simons Island, Ga.) and Olivia Brannon (Troy, Mich.) rallied for a 2-1 victory over Canada in Sunday’s final.

By finishing in the top three of the CONCACAF Championships, the United States qualified for the 2012 U-20 World Cup. That even will run Aug. 19-Sept. 8 in Japan.
