CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.-The start of the final day of the ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships taking place at Virginia’s Lannigan Field on Saturday (April 21) has been moved to 10 a.m. The schedule change was made due to the strong possibility of inclement weather. All events will begin two hours prior to their original start times (see updated schedule).

ACC championship protocol stresses that every effort should be made to complete all of the events scheduled for the three-day meet. With a high probability for inclement weather on Saturday, this change will give the teams the best opportunity to complete all scheduled events.

Gates will open at 10 a.m., Saturday. Admission to the conference championship is free and fans can enter the facility at the entrance to the renovated Lannigan Field/Klockner Stadium/Davenport Field complex. Free public parking for the championship is available in the University Hall, John Paul Jones Arena and McCue parking lots.

Free, live video streaming coverage from 11:30 a.m., through the final event will be available from the ACC and linked through VirginiaSports.com.

The field action will begin with the men’s high jump, women’s high jump and women’s discus throw at 10 a.m., while the track events start with the men’s 4×100-meter relay at 11:30 a.m.
