Farrakhan Named to NBA D-League All-Rookie Team

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Former Virginia guard Mustapha Farrakhan (Class of 2011) was named to the NBA Developmental League All-Rookie Second Team this week. Farrakhan spent his first season as a professional playing for the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA D-League.

Farrakhan played in 39 games this season for the Jam, starting 11 games. He averaged 9.0 points, 3.4 assists and 1.6 rebounds per game, while averaging 18.7 minutes per game.
