CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The final movie night at Scott Stadium will be held on Saturday, Aug. 4. Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax will be shown starting at 6 p.m. A Select-A-Seat event will also be held in conjunction with the movie night beginning at 4 p.m. Seating is expected to be available on the field at Scott Stadium for this showing with gates opening at 5 p.m. Admission to each Scott Stadium movie night is free.

Raffle prizes, including tickets to 2012 Virginia home football games, a football signed by head coach Mike London, and an LCD-TV will be given away at each Scott Stadium movie night. To win the LCD-TV, fans must pre-register by sending an email including name, home address, phone number, and email address to cavforce@virginia.edu.

The Select-A-Seat event allows fans to preview various seating assignments before the purchase of season tickets, mini-packages, and single game tickets.

Fans will also have the opportunity to tour the Virginia football locker room before the showing of the movie.

Concessions and UVa merchandise will be sold. Food and beverages are not permitted to be brought into the stadium.

Parking is free and fans are asked to park in Scott Stadium’s west lot.

The movie night scheduled for Saturday, July 14 was cancelled due to inclement weather.
