“I am honored and excited to serve as captain of the University of Virginia women’s tennis team,” said Vierra. “I have such a deep love and respect for my teammates, my coaches, and the University, and am humbled by this opportunity. I hope to follow in the footsteps of our two amazing captains from last year, Lindsey Hardenbergh and Emily Fraser, who helped bring this program to a level never before seen in UVa women’s tennis. My teammates and I are working hard to continue pushing this program to the absolute top of women’s tennis, and we are looking forward to making this season even more successful and memorable than the last. Wahoowa!”
