CHARLOTTESVILLE – The singles final of the ITA Atlantic Regional will be an all-Virginia matchup as Jarmere Jenkins (College Park, Ga.) and Harrison Richmond (Pawleys Island, S.C.) both advanced on Monday at the Snyder Tennis Center. In addition, the team of Justin Shane (Falls Church, Va.) and Julen Uriguen (Guatemala City, Guatemala) reached the doubles final.

Both Jenkins and Richmond won a pair of matches to advance. Jenkins, the top seed, topped fifth-seed Max Wennakoski of VCU 6-0, 6-3 in the quarterfinals before downing ninth-seeded Andreas Bjerrehus of Virginia Tech in the semifinals, 6-2, 0-6, 6-3. Richmond, the No. 7 seed, advanced with a 7-6(0), 6-4 quarterfinal win over Alejandro Argente of VCU and an 6-0, 6-2 semifinal victory over Amerigo Contini of Virginia Tech.

In doubles, second-seeded Shane and Uriguen cruised to a 6-2, 6-2 semifinal win over Danil Zelenkov and Nikita Fomin of George Washington. They will meet the Virginia Tech duo of Bjerrehus and Contini in the final, who upset the top-seeded Cavalier pair of Richmond and Alex Domijan (Wesley Chapel, Fla.) 3-6, 6-4, 6-2 in the other semifinal.

Both the singles final and doubles final will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Snyder Tennis Center. Admission is free.
