Women's Soccer Announces Spring Schedule

CHARLOTTESVILLE – The Virginia women’s soccer team has announced its spring schedule. The Cavaliers will play five games in March and April, four against top college teams and one against the Washington Spirit of the new NWSL.
The Cavaliers will play Florida in Cary, N.C., Duke in suburban Richmond, Penn State in suburban Baltimore, will play at the Washington Spirit and host Georgetown. The four college opponents all played in the 2012 NCAA Tournament, including NCAA runner-up Penn State. The Washington Spirit begins play in NWSL in April and have signed Virginia alumnae Lori Lindsey, Chantel Jones and Kika Toulouse, along with drafting Caroline Miller in the college draft.
