CHARLOTTESVILLE – Friday’s men’s tennis match between No. 1 Virginia and No. 8 Duke will be played outdoors at the Snyder Tennis Center. The match will begin at 3 p.m.

Admission to all Virginia home matches is free. Fans can park for free at the Culbreth Garage.

The Virginia-Duke match is the first men’s College MatchDay. The USTA is debuting the College MatchDay series this year to highlight top teams and rivalries in college tennis. The goal is to expand the series to one match a week beginning in 2014.

There will be a live audio broadcast of the match on RadioTennis.com and the USTA will have College MatchDay hats for the first 200 fans in attendance. Other promotions include a Kids Zone, appearances by the Cavalier Band and Cavman and a youth clinic with Virginia coaches and student-athletes following the match.
