CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – On Wednesday, April 24, ticket books for potential NCAA Baseball Regional and Super Regional tournaments at Davenport Field go on sale at 9 a.m. through the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office. Regional all-session ticket books are $60 for reserved seating and $45 for general admission, while Super Regional all-session ticket books are $36 for reserved seating and $24 for general admission.

A potential NCAA Regional would be contested May 31-June 3, while a potential Super Regional would be held June 7-9 or June 8-10.

New for the 2013 postseason, seating in the left- and right-field bleachers will be reserved. Again this year, all seating in the grandstands and bleachers along the first-baseline will be reserved. General admission tickets are valid for the grass hillside along the left-field line and for standing room only.

Ticket books may be purchased online at VirginiaSports.com. Fans also may purchase tickets through the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office by telephone and in person. The ticket office is located in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium and open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Telephone purchases can be made by calling 1-800-542-8821.

Season Ticket Holder Ticket Sales
All 2013 Virginia baseball season ticket holders may purchase reserved and general admission ticket books through the May 10 priority seating deadline.

Postseason Seating
 for Season Ticket Holders
The NCAA requires tickets to be held for the visiting teams for both the Regional and Super Regional tournaments. Therefore, not all reserved season ticket seating locations are available to be purchased. All season ticket holders may order as many reserved seats as they would like but only the same number of seats as they held during the regular season will be seated on priority. The Virginia Athletics Ticket Office will make every effort to place postseason tickets (the same number as held for season tickets) as close as possible to each season ticket holder’s regular season seat location.

Virginia Athletics Foundation Donor Ticket Sales
Current Virginia Athletics Foundation donors who do not have season tickets may purchase reserved seat ticket books in the first-base line and outfield bleachers on a first-come, first-served basis, through the May 10 priority seating deadline based on availability. Donors may also purchase general admission ticket books. To purchase tickets, donors must log in to their online ticket account or call the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office.

General Public Ticket Sales
The general public may purchase reserved seat ticket books and general admission ticket books and will be seated after season ticket holders and VAF donors in either the left- or right-field bleachers. Seat assignments will be made after the May 10 priority seating deadline based on availability.

UVa Student Ticket Sales
UVa students must purchase tickets for admission to both the Regional and Super Regional tournaments. Students may purchase reserved tickets at full price or general admission tickets at a reduced price of $30 for Regional ticket books and $15 for Super Regional ticket books.

NCAA Regional and Super Regional Dates and Announcement Schedule

If selected as a host site, Virginia would hold an NCAA Regional Championship tournament featuring three other opponents May 31-June 3. If the Cavaliers were to win the NCAA Regional Championship, they could potentially host a Super Regional Championship (best-of-three series) June 7-9 or June 8-10.

The 16 NCAA Regional sites are announced Sunday, May 26, at 9 p.m. The NCAA tournament selection show is slated for Monday, May 27, and will be televised at noon by ESPNU. The eight Super Regional sites are announced following the completion of Regional play.

Refund Policy

Virginia 2013 baseball season ticket holders will only be charged if Virginia is announced as a tournament host for the Regional and Super Regional tournaments. Non-season ticket holders’ credit cards will be charged at the time of purchase. If Virginia is not selected to host a postseason tournament round, all non-season ticket holders will receive a full refund of their ticket balance for that round.
