EASTBOURNE, England – Virginia men’s tennis alumni Treat Huey (Class of 2008) and Dominic Inglot (Class of 2009) teamed to win their third career title on the ATP World Tour, winning this week’s Aegon International. The ATP 250 tournament was the final tournament of the grass court swing prior to the start of Wimbledon.

The unseeded pair of Huey and Inglot defeated the tournament’s top two seeds. They downed second-seeded Leander Paes and Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi in the quarterfinals and upset top-seeded, and world No. 2 team, Alexander Peya and Bruno Soares in the final.

It marks the third consecutive year that Huey and Inglot have won a title on the ATP World Tour. They won their first tournament in 2012, claiming the Citi Open in Washington, D.C. Last year they won the Swiss Indoors in Basel.

Huey and Inglot are the No. 10 seed at Wimbledon, which begins Monday. The pair reached the round of 16 at last year’s tournament.
