CHARLOTTESVILLE – The second-ranked Virginia women’s soccer team concludes the non-conference portion of its schedule Wednesday as it hosts Old Dominion. Game time at Klöckner Stadium is 7 p.m.

Tickets for the game are $7 for adult general admission and $5 for youth, senior and faculty/staff general admission. Group tickets (20 or more) are $4. Free parking is available in the University Hall lots.

There will be a live video broadcast of the contest via a Cavaliers Live subscription on VirginiaSports.com.

Virginia (7-0-0) is one of seven remaining unbeaten/untied teams in Division I and looks to complete a perfect non-conference schedule for the fourth time in program history (1990, 2004, 2013). The Cavaliers are coming off a pair of home wins last week, downing Tennessee, 2-1, and Hofstra, 3-1, to win the Virginia Nike Soccer Classic title. Senior midfielder Danielle Colaprico (Freehold, N.J.) had two goals and an assist in those wins to earn tournament MVP honors.

The Monarchs (1-3-2) recorded their first victory of the season on Sunday, winning 1-0 at Radford. All six of Old Dominion’s games this season have been decided by one goal or less.

Wednesday’s game is the first meeting between the schools in 17 years. The Cavaliers have won all three previous matchups with the Monarchs, including a 2-1 victory at Klöckner Stadium in 1997 in the last meeting.

Virginia will open ACC play on Saturday as it hosts Miami. Game time at Klöckner Stadium is 7 p.m., and the game will be broadcast online through Cavaliers Live.
